    1. Check the destination link is correct.
    2. Use strong contrast.
    3. Keep a clear white margin.
    4. Avoid heavy decoration.
    5. Export PNG at high resolution, or SVG or PDF for print.
    6. Test the printed size with several phones.
    7. Open the destination on a mobile device.
    8. Make sure the linked content will stay online.

    Static codes: what that means

    Every code here is static. The content is stored inside the picture itself, so it never expires, needs no subscription and works with no server. The trade-off: you can’t change the destination after printing, and there are no scan statistics. For books and print, point the code to a page you control.
